I was recently invited by Manx Airlines former CEO Terry Liddiard to visit the ATP Preservation Project at Ronaldsway/IOM, Isle of Man. On 15th November this visit took place and I was met by Captain Mark Harris who used to fly the ATP for Manx Airlines. At the time of my visit the ex West Air Sweden/West Atlantic ATP SE-LHX was inside the West Atlantic hangar and has recently been painted in original Manx Airlines colours with registration G-MAUD. As can be seen on my pictures the work done by Mark and the team of volonteers is most impressive considering the state of the ATP when handed over to the Preservation Project. Much is still to be done but I am convinced that when finished the ATP, to be placed close to the Manx Aviation & Military Museum, will become a major attraction.

Från Air Britain News maj 2023: SE-MEX Air Leap , craned over the fence off the airport at Ronaldsway to have further parts removed in the week commencing 10 April 2023 including the donation of seats to the ATP Trust (for G-MAUD) and the front fuselage section to the Manx Aviation Museum".
