19660305 Accident, Bunia Airport,, Congo, during flare out and immediately prior to touch down, LH main landing gear impacted 30 cm high sand ridge followed by hard landing. As no visible damage was found, a/c was ferried to Stanleyville where it was discovered that the whole LH MLG had been displaced backwards ca 10 cm and that the shock had been transmitted to the rear part of the centre section by the rear landing gear drag struts and the rear landing gear drag links (TAT 11254)
